SHIPPING POLICY

We do not accept orders from outside the continental United States at this time. No babies will be shipped before 2 months of age and only to an experienced hand feeder to complete the weaning process. By this time, most of our babies have been introduced to a pellet-seed diet, fruits, veggies, pasta, rice, and various other foods, but may still require maintenance feeds. We will not ship babies before this time. We will wean the baby for you at no additional charge. For local pickup in the Tampa Bay area we may release the baby at 6 weeks of age to an experienced hand feeder. pictures of the baby will be taken every 4-5 days and emailed directly so you can see your baby's growth. After discussing which species of bird best suits your home environment, and a decision is made to purchase one of our birds or babies a 25 percent deposit will hold your order which will be refundable within 30 days of cancellation of order. We accept personal checks, postal money orders, bank money orders, and will be accepting Pay Pal and Visa in the near future. If payment or deposit is not received in 10 days the order will be cancelled. Cash will also be accepted for payment for local pickup. Payment plans are also available but the baby or bird will not be shipped or release until full payment is received. We prefer to ship Delta Pets whenever possible and will also ship Continental. The average cost for shipping Delta is $100.00, with the average cost with Continental being $150.00. The cost of the crate is included with the purchase of the bird. We do not charge for our time driving to Tampa Airport nor charge you for gas mileage to the airport. Your order will be shipped 7-10 days once we receive payment in full and check clears. We do ship on weekends if needed. Shipping is also dependant on the weather. Shipping costs may be prepaid or may be COD. We try to ship on the first available flight at 6 am to ensure that the bird or baby is not delayed in Atlanta. If any additional information is needed please feel free to email or call us.
